Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed an early aptitude for athletics when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the time. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks following the first time she tried out. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to study elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to win the 200 meter race. She defended the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She consistently placed within the top three places of the events.
