Lil Yacthy, is a rapper, singer and a music producer, best known for his hit single 'One Night'. His real name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is also known as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. His mixtapes, 'Summer songs 2' and 'Lil boat were the first of his major smashes. This wasn't his first attempt at singing. The first recognition came in August 2015 with his singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. These songs were part of his debut EP, Extended Play, called 'Summer Songs. Currently he has music labels like Capital Records, 'Quality Control Music', and 'Motown Records under his list of. Yachty has worked with well-known rappers like 'D.R.A.M and "Chance the Rapper," among others. Yachty is also selling his own items on his website. While attending school at Pebblebrook Highschool Lil Yatchy, worked at McDonald's. Here he met other aspiring rappers. Yachty was enrolled at Alabama State University to graduate and then he left after just two months. Yachty loved songs that were unique and questioned the established norms of his youth. It was a result of his father who would play the variety of music from his early days. In 2015, he opted for the title "Yachty" to move from Atlanta to New York. He wanted to be successful in the world. In New York, he stayed with a close friend and looked for ways to get into the music scene. He also began to interact with street fashion bloggers , and gained an impressive number of followers on Instagram. He made a deal with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his primary collaborator, K$upreme. The group is known as  The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's home studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio broadcast his popular track "Minnesota". This was his first big success. The breakthrough moment for Lil Yachty was his song "1Night". The video was released onlineand soon became viral. When the SoundCloud version of the song he sang "One Night" was a viral hit the media was all over the singer.
