Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 in 1988.
She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of the company
that contracts for work, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German and
British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career as a youngster in
Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she made her stage debut in the
performance in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. In her
teens, Stone was a part of numerous stage productions before she made the
decision to pursue a career in acting. As per the official account she
presented her PowerPoint slide show that was made possible by the Madonna's
Hollywood and was dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an effort to persuade
her parents to let her to drop out of school and move to Los Angeles. After the
presentation was accepted by the parents, she and her mom moved to LA. She
continued her education at home, while auditioning. Her TV debut came when she
was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge
Family (2004). This was followed by a few minor TV performances over the course
of the years. After a number of performances she was then able to play the role
of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her fame was as Olive in Easy A (2010) followed by
many more roles. She attended Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona.
While she is famous for being a redhead, her true hair color is blonde. Judd
Apatow suggested that she change her hair's color to be more in line with
Superbad (2007). The actress loved it so much, she chose to keep her hair. At
the age of 15, she convinced her parents to let her to move to Hollywood
through a PowerPoint presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She
started acting when she was 11 years old, at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre.
Here she appeared on 16 stages and also was a part of the comedy improv troupe
of the theatre. Caylee Cowan also acted in the Valley Youth Theatre.
